Horological Meandering: a great outlook!

I can certainly sympathise with the collector you mentioned regarding a Dufour and a Rolex. If I had to go to only one watch that could do everything it would be a Datejust II. Perfect for aying with th ekids by the pool, formal evening wear and lounging around in casuals. The build quality, truly e

Horological Meandering: interesting point

For many consumers Swiss made is very important. Having had my fair share of Swiss watches of questionable quality it is not a designation that holds much weight for me personally and the leaps in quality displayed by many of the HK micro brands and Seagull of mainland China show what can be done at

Horological Meandering: That's a shame...

The bridges while being beautiful don't actually look functional as the photos seems to show the base movement using screws to secure the hour and minute wheels and therefore not needing an end jewel for the pinion. Is this correct? The pricing is attractive compared to haute horlogerie alternatives

Horological Meandering: Pricing?

I finally found their website after thumbing through ZZ top tribute pages and professinal storm chasers only to find no details of distribution or pricing. If these are very well priced one would make a nice stablemate to my pair of SevenFriday watches.

Horological Meandering: The Bradley watch featured on BBC news

www.bbc.co.uk It's great to see what I regard as one of the true innovations in watchmaking over the past few years getting some exposure on the BBC news website. Hopefully this will help the brand get it's products into the hands of those who need them. Although I'm fully sighted it's p

Horological Meandering: My story...

I have only ever agonised over one purchase as that requred the sale of one of my most persoanlly "significant" pieces. I had a Patek 5296r with sector dial tht I never truly bonded with. To be honest I think I wore it more for the apparent admiration it garnered amongst watch lovers than it's own m

Horological Meandering: My choice as watch of the year...

The Bradley is my choice of watch of the year for 2013. It's a wonderful concept and implemented excellently. I tend to wear a watch at night and previously it had been my Luminor and the glow drove my girlfriend crazy. Now with the Bradley I can easily check the time at night without having to put

Horological Meandering: Many factors for me but primarily the shape of

It's many factors for me but the most prominent cause seems to be the shape of the caseback and the amount of contact the back has with the flat of my wrist. For example my old Rolex Seadweller 16600 always rotated as the relatively small amount of caseback and it's depth made little contact compare

Horological Meandering: Mine should be here shortly...

Hopefully mine will be delivered in the next few days. It's great to see something that is really new on the watchmaking scene. It will certainly make checking the time in business meetings a lot less conspicuous!

Horological Meandering: That's the P1 with the steel ring

The wooden ring model ins the P3/2 it's fairly hard to source. I have one I'm thinking of parting with alternatively I can put you in touch with a dealer who may still have one in stock if you're interested. I'm not soliciting for sales as I love it and am in no rush to sell but happy to put others
