This small movement is a true feast for the eyes... I could see the Historiques 1955 today so I shot its beautiful movement:

during my trip to Geneva last month, I was fortunate to sit next to Mr. Torres. I practically begged him to give me this movement in a platinum case. All I got was a wink and a few additional questions of my desires! Here is another example of this moveme...

It's a cal. 1006, which reverses the cal 1003 so the "back side" is now the dial side. VC had to reverse all the gears/wheels in order for the hour and minute hand to rotate "normally" (clockwise). The movement is gilt and engraved. It was only used in th...
