that V&C had always sold to other fabricants and etablisseurs. These relationships were highly confidential although the records likely still exist but behind locked doors in Geneva. One of the few instances when a name was recorded in the Annales was Goldsmiths & Silversmiths of London circa 1930s. The question I have is were they English or Swiss-style watches?

V&C used it begun in the mid-1930s , because a large number of orders began to emerge after the economic crisis, but the in-house-made movements were unable to meet the needs of customers, so these ebauches were purchased externally.

But I am wondering about how much of the finishing was effectively done by the manufacturers which branded the ébauches. The quality on this one doesn't seem very far from what I have observed on the Vacheron & Constantin versions of the same caliber, and...
