photo at a VC boutique earlier today. The 'regular' Traditionelle on the left is mine. The one on the middle is the boutique edition with Guilloche dial, and is really beautiful. And also a tad more expensive. The one on the extreme right is the boutique ...

All are beautiful !

Thanks for sharing kpk. I have seen the cream dial version before but not the guilloche one. Of course we have our brother watch! The regular RG Traditionelle! :) Cheers Robin

Robin, when I first saw the photo of the guilloche piece,

I was not so sure. I thought it would be too much treatment for this piece. But it is very subtly done and very beautiful. It is also few thousand dollars more than the regular and cream dial versions. I was not so impressed by the cream version. I think ...

Love the guilloche dial. Best regards, Baxter

All 3 are nice but...

if I had to choose one of the 3, I would go for the LE 2P guilloche dial version. Indeed, as a daily wearer, the "regular" Traditionnelle is probably the one. But as a dresswatch, the guilloche is just so subtle, extremely well executed by hand, however n...

I would go for the regular version.

IMO it can't get any better than this. Yes, the guilloche version is very nice but I do associate that kind of dial more with Breguet than VC. Best, Gerard

Guilloche = Breguet style ?

The regular version is certainly VERY nice also, and I am not saying that one is better than the other one. And of course you can prefer the regular version over the guilloche one. But I am surprised by your argument: to me Breguet has a very typical guil...

The guilloche version is indeed beautiful.

Me personnaly, I associate guilloche very strongly with Breguet and that is what always comes into my mind when I see guilloche dials from other brands. A pretty similar guilloche type can be found, for example, on the ref. 7337. But again, this is only m...

Initially I thought.....

...nothing can beat the beauty of the cream one , but after I so the close up of the guilloche one I became stuned by its mastery and attention to detail , both front and back it is definitely much more than just dress watch. Regards Edward. This message ...

Yes indeed, the more I look at this dial...

...the more I am mesmerized ! This bidirectional guilloche sunray + waves is simply magic and hypnotic (to my eyes at least). And I agree with Gerard : I would not have liked to have a Breguet style guilloche (like 7737 indeed) on a VC Patrimony : that wo...

Guys, it is a very subtle guilloche. And it does not make

the dial look 'heavy', considering it is only 38mm, but it sure does infuse it with an added 'zing'. If this were available when I bought mine (2011) I would probably choose this one; but it is slightly more expensive. Given the hoo haa the cream dial ver...
