This one dates from the mid-late 1950's and has the 1008/BS caliber in it (the upgraded version of the 453/454 family of movements that Sam mentioned in his article).

Thank you for taking the time (and the excellent photographs) to share this with us. The dial on this watch is amazing. While the white enamel may not appeal to some people, I can't imagine enameling any finer than what one gets with the Chronometer Royal...
