Yes, the price is definitely fair. This watch is equivalent to a Patek Philippe 5711 in many ways except there's no date and it's a petite seconds vs a center sweep seconds. Other than that, the watches are on the same level. Especially finishing, they're... 

This watch, unlike many others, is a watch which tops 5711/12 in every aspect of quality and finishing while retaining the durability of a submariner as a daily watch (lets ignore scratches...). something you can't expect from AP RO for example...

The movement is still not as robust as a Submariner watch though. And the lack of date - while more aesthetically pleasing, is a small danger. If I were stranded on a deserted island (who knows, this may be a paradise) I would still want a Submariner as m...
