Gosh, the bids are approaching $3k for this fake calendar watch based upon LeCoultre parts. I "think" its trying to mimic the Ref. 4240 full calendar which came in gold and stainless steel (and combination of gold/steel) with and without moon phases, however the case serial numbers for the steel models were of the 273xxx series and the case shape was different, with nice fluted sides. Also the proper calendar moon phases movement would have been the calibre 485/495 family, while this isn't even the 454/5B its pretending to be. Its shocking to think that people have good money to throw at fakes!

I really like the wrong size screw head....
on the center wheel bridge! It is so big it covers up most of the beveling of the screw hole! Bill
