The dial is so different under different light conditions, from light grey, to pinkish darker grey, to almost black. ...

I find them both supreme to be honest, but if I would have to bet on wrist time, I would easily go for the platinum version, since I believe it is more discreet for everyday business life. Having said that, the boutique pink gold version is so understated...
