My OS Dual Time

Jan 04, 2015,03:01 AM

I have had my OS Dual Time  for a couple of months now.  I'm telling you, it is not easy to wear such an obvious watch. First, I had to get used to the bling effect - people are starring at it. Second, I had to prepare some answers for the curious ones asking about its value. My favorite answer: "it is gold plated".

But...I still love it!!! The more I wear it, the more I like it.

I bought it already scratched, all over the case and bracelet, and I was afraid it a "scratch magnet". I wore it very often, with the normal care I give all my watches and it proved to be pretty scratch resistant, similar to any other. In fact, I think it is a bit studier than the RO or the Nautilus.

The dial is a marvel, it takes a lot of my time to look at it. Despite its considerable weight, due to the incredibly comfortable bracelet, possibly the best in the industry, the watch is easy to wear on my 7.5 inch wrist.

Honestly, I did not miss my 5980 that is being currently revised by PP.

I wish you all a Happy New Horological Year!

The overseas is a great watch and I especially like its bracelet! Yours in gold must have a nice hefty feeling :) I'm very happy to read you are still enjoying this watch so much and wearing it often! :) Don't worry about scratches! They can be fixed alwa...

I find most gold bracelet watches to be scratch magnets....

so I hope you will enjoy the particular patina you put on it. VC will have it look like new when you eventually have it serviced. It's always good to see people enjoying their watches. Bill
