Dear Marcus,

Sorry for the blunder. I had no mean of discrediting UN in the WWW. In fact, I was first time visiting Purists with intention to look for some information and comment of another watch I wanted to buy and some how bum into comment of UN.

I will be very glad if you or anyone can give me some guide over the UN matter. I can be contacted at [Email address suppressed for privacy]

Regards

Ricky

I can't believe it, after getting the +35s per day problem solved last year (watch was away for 10 weeks), the second hand has decided to detatch itself from the watch... I put it on it's side last night for a couple of minutes as i brushed my teeth and w...

can i ask was the watch brand new? if so you have 2 years warranty i would suggest contacting UN in switzerland tell them the story and have it shipped there immediately, this is very unusual for UN and im certain they will have it repaired quickly for yo...

Thanks gazoz I will contact them today and get it back to them asap - it was bought in march 2007 and went back to them in December 2008 for the time-keeping to be sorted. It is unusual (from what i see on these forums) and highly annoying as i absolutely...

from the dates you've given your warranty expired in 2009. if thats the case you'll have to pay to have it fixed. what i would do under the circumstances is go to a reliable repairer in UK which i gather is where you are and get him to fix it. its a simpl...

While it is unusual, these things CAN happen. Mounting the hands on their pins is a science in itself: Do you press them on too tightly, they will be damaged themselves, and might even compromise the working of the watch. If you mount them too slightly, t...

Hi all, I bought a UN 42mm Dual Time (Blue strap with white dial) in June 2008. It is really love at first sight and till today I still like the marine look of the watch. But too bad, the watch is now on its 3rd return to the service centre in less than 2...
