At least to me, this " Les Cabinotiers " Minute Repeater Skeleton is one of the nicest watches I've ever seen. I was lucky enough to admire it at the Vacheron Constantin Boutique, in Geneva, where we were perfectly welcomed. If someone is looking for an e...

I was still shivering in front of such a Beauty... If only I was lucky at the Lottery... But Dream Watches are good, too. As for the sellers, nothing special, and no secrets, I fear... I guess that when you have sparkles in the eyes...It's easier. The sel...

I said that I avoid talking about grail watches. I might just make an exception for just this one watch (or its rose gold sibling). I'm glad you got the chance to experience that watch, Nicolas. You are a lucky man. Bill

The engraving is perfection!

Indeed , Daos, this is a watch which can lead to Madness.

As for sound files, I'm not convinced, at the end, of their interest, as the sound you will hear on your computer is not dign of the sound you will be able to hear ( or better, to listen to ) in la live experience... As I wrote, the level and the quality ...

Good point about the sound quality

 By: dxboon : February 9th, 2009-22:52
Nicolas,  How would you compare the sound of this VC versus the titanium L.U.C Tech Strike One?  I imagine the VC has a much softer "strike" versus the Chopard.  I thought the Chopard had a very nice musicality though. Warm regards, Daos

be careful of comparing model ranges as opposed to specific pieces...

Hi, Daos, I admit I am guilty of making statements like "PP repeaters" and "VC repeaters" etc but I try very hard today to not speak in terms of brands or even model ranges when referring to sound quality of repeaters. Like wine, there are no great or bad...

But i believe that for such a masterpiece like this there is eternality in it, and therefore one can never be too late. Amazing shots mon ami, the finish of this piece is divine, unlike no squelleton i have ever set sights upon. Brings me back to the memo...

this is an extremely fine example of very high horology, however the skeletonized version is definitely not my preferred cup of tea. I much, very much prefer the one with a dial, firstly, to me, the dial's simplicity is just superb and secondly, I'd rathe...
