She's a real beauty. Yet another amazing moonphase by VC!
I really like the unbalanced dial look, but I also wonder how the watch would have looked if VC had made the dial more balanced by 'reversing' the power reserve and moving it opposite to the moonphase, and moving its name in the center of the dial...
I am looking forward to SIHH to be able to see it in the metal and try it on.

Cheers,

Francois

A little eye candy to get you through the weekend. The Malte Moonphase Power Reserve in white gold, reference 83080. The movement is based on the manual winding in-house caliber 1400, here designated the caliber "1410 AS." The case is a generous 39 mm wid...

though the chronograph is still my favorite in the Malte lineup of tonneau watches. VC doesn't plan to manufacture non-complicated Malte watches. I think a day-date-power reserve as in the Jubile 1755 and Quai de l'Ile would look fantastic. Bill

Nice pics WHL!

I have contemplated VC in the past. I have yet to own one, but without question this would be my choice from the current collection. Congratulations on this special timepiece, and I would love to see more photos when you have time, particularly on the wri...

It is not my watch.....

I am lucky to have access to many fine VC's at an AD. The case back on this watch is solid, which is probably for the best since the 1410 caliber is only 20 mm in diameter, just over half of the width of the case. Bill

I find myself even more attracted to the balanced layout of the Breguet 3130, which also has the moonphase and power reserve (though it adds the date and omits the small seconds). Bill

Bill the dial is wonderfull, and i prefer the pink gold version as

the contrast is more obvious. Some pictures taken today on wrist with my mobile phone. To share just for the pleasure. I really like this dial, and ask Vacheron Constantin if they could introduice this small movement (no need to be seen by sapphire caseba...

I can't see this particular complication in an Overseas....

but I agree that the rose gold hands make a nice contrast over the silver dial. Thank you for your photos. Bill
