Building driving memories on the way to the French riviera

Just back from a fantastic roadtrip from Zurich to Nice, excluding the boring motorway sections we had >800km of perfect curves in amazing landscapes. And the best parts: already booked an appointment to change my 4 tires tomorrow, so no restrictions in rubber destruction The MAD1 is a driver’s watc

Vacheron Constantin Les Historiques Chronographs.

A superb photo to be credited to Singapore Watch Club. There are a few missing, here, such as the platinum salmon dial and the Taipei Edition, black dial. Credit: Christies. Now I think we have everything. Magic. Best, Nicolas

Did Patek ever consider releasing a Nautilus Tourbillon, in the same vein that AP has the Royal Oak Tourbillon and VC the Overseas Tourbillon ?

If not, why do you think that would be ? Would it not make sense to have an "über" version of their flagship sports watch ? Or do you reckon the (rather gorgeous) 5740 perpetual calendar model qualifies as such ? Keen to hear your opinions. Cheers, Pieter

Not so subtle.

My son sent me a picture of his growing collection of watches which I helped him acquire. I’m wondering if the empty space at the end is a hint. What do you think? Regards Kev.

Question about 5270/1R-001

I recently bought PP 5270/1R-001 and, as it happened with the Nautilus bracelet, I need a 1 1/2 link. Removing one link makes the bracelet quite tight. Do you happen to know, is there is any fine adjustment for the beautiful bracelet of 5270? Thank you!

Panerai 172 and 192 Tantalum.

Panerai contributed to make Tantalum famous. It was in 2004, if my memory serves me well. 44 mm time only ( 172 ) and Chronograph ( 192 ). The grey blue hue of this metal is just fascinating. Since then, I always wanted to see more tantalum watches, but it seems that brands are reluctant. A pity. Be
