It breaks my heart because their are components to such sought after and loved VC watches in this Franken. :-(

I thought it read "6782", which is the T-Bird. It still looks unusual for a CR with cal. 1072. Antiquorum's database shows two Ref 6732 watches which have cal 1072, but not the CR dial. Also the case back does not have "Chronomtre Royale" engraved.

The movement is missing its spacer ring, possibly because the dial doesn't properly fit the case. Speaking of that dial, I'm not sure if it was stolen from a CR or an actual fake production! Note the SWISS MADE at 6 o'clock. The case back s/n dates this p...

Seller confirms the dial is not original to the watch, but apparently according to his friend is genuine dial. Bids currently over $15k.
