There was also an EP Patrimony Contemporaine, made in 150 examples. It had the caliber 1400 in it.

The retrograde day date watch is based on VC's in house automatic, not a JLC base. I don't consider this lesser in any way.

As for the aesthetics, I agree that this is not my favorite VC watch. I have only seen the standard version and I just don't like the large size.
