IMHO, there are only 2 manufacturers out there that can successfully pull off such a classic design with a modern sensibility: VC and Patek... and VC always seems to somehow trump PP with their stylistic cues. It is like VC is willing to push the envelope...

I find it looks feminine, yet there are sculptural lines about it. Need to see in the flesh and size to decide either side. Best, Horo

One of my favorites of SIHH for sure! Of course, VC couldn't use the nickname "Lips" and Aronde sounds nice enough. For me, the Ultra Fine 1955 was the complete package, the 1968 really needs a display back, and the 1954 is sexy as hell but would be bette... 

That Aronde would simply be impossible to beat... quite a watch--not for me--but quite a watch!!!!
