Some answer.
Are these V&C movements based on the Jaeger-LeCoultre P449/P479 etc.?
- Yes, it's the same base.
I have some spare part lists from JLC and it seems that both have the same basis. As a consequence I assume that also the parts are interchangable and most parts from JLC P479 could be used also for the V&C P453 movement.
- You can use some parts, but the quality is not the same!
What is the production date of my two V&C movements ?
- #467181 in 1945
- #495925 in 1949
