the minute it was launched. I live in a country that falls in a half time zone, so naturally I appreciate it more. To have 37 time zones (half and quarters) operated by a single crown is a technical tour de force. And the dial is so easy to understand. It brings the romance of travel alive. (On the contrary, Lange's Timezone watch which has 24 time zones looks more like a NASA spacecraft instrument to me. Dont get me wrong - there are Lange's that I love, actually adore.)

The complexity of the VC WT movement is hidden inside. The winding rotor conceals this. Watchtime wrote a brilliant article on the WT two years ago and shows how the WT mechanism works.

I am more of a RG / PG person, and not so much a white metal person. I like the WT piece unique. I have to see the WT CEP to make up my mind. IMHO CEP does not always work well for all the pieces graced with it. I think it works best on the Traditionelle 14 day tourbillon and Malte Tourbillon.

Yes, the WT could be a tad thinner, but if one understand intellectually what it takes to make 37 time zones come alive with a single crown, then it is a comprise that I can accept.

The PG WT is one of my dream watches.

I also think the JLC Duometre UTT takes into account half time zones. On an interactive ad of the watch, it shows the globe and time being set to taken into account New-Delhi. Maybe Nicholas can confirm this?

GP does that, too with their new Traveler WW TC. At the contrary of Patek... And the fact that you have the half time zones is another good point, versus the competitors. Like you, I am really waiting to see it in the real. Thanks for your superb feedback...
