“Automatic” Vacheron & Constantin, Genève, “Automatic”, No. 587829, case No. 428827, Ref. 7397. Made circa 1970. Fine and rare, tonneau-shaped, center-seconds, self-winding, water-resistant, 18K white gold gentleman's wristwatch with date.
Two-body, polished and brushed, screwed-down case back,brushed bezel. D. "Satiné" silver, “sunburst”, with applied lapidatedwhite gold indexes and date aperture. White gold “bâton”hands. M. Cal. K 1072/1, stamped with the Seal of Geneva qualityhallmark, rhodium-plated, "fausses-côtes" decoration, 29jewels, straight line lever escapement, beryllium balance withtiming screws adjusted for heat, cold, isochronism and fivepositions, shock-absorber, Breguet balance-spring, swanneckmicrometer regulator, 18K gold-edge rotor with rubyroller bearings.Dial, case and movement signed.Diam. 35 mm. Thickness. 11 mm.
