Agree you should not trade your 57970G for a 5270P, but rather disappointed with your post

With due respect, you have been given a great favor by Patek with allocation of the extremely rare 5970G salmon (and probably others), which we are all in love with when we see it time and time and again in this forum and others, but you are disappointed in Patek as a company because they used a salmon dial on the 5270P?? Maybe you are disappointed personally, but disappointed with Patek as a company? Toppled off their pedestal? Geez, that makes no sense. Selling their “soles”to the devil? Seriously, or maybe I just don’t know you well enough to tell when you are kidding?
All would have been smooth if they had only chosen say a non-offensive black dial for the 5270P? (Or if you and a few other special clients did not already own a 5970G, with some implied exclusive right to salmon?)
And a further offense was the 40th Anniversary Nautilus watches? Also curious what would have been acceptable to you as an Anniversary Nautilus design...
Enjoy that 5970G salmon, which I agree is the bomb. You are a long time collector who deserves much respect, but taking a step back many comments in your post here are self-serving or a bit ridiculous. But I do hope that the 5270P salmon hype has the counterintuitive effect of spiking the value of your 5970G, as you predict.
