I honestly feel the 5270 is a beautiful evolution of the 5970, a cleaner dial and configuration. Patek, IMO, has tried hard at this line, which is possibly the flagship model of the brand. I do, however, strongly agree that the 40th anniversary of the Nautilus was a big miss, leaving most owners/fans/followers fairly disappointed. In fact, looking back at Patek's anniversary collections (and correct me if I am wrong), most models cater to the upper most echelon of its consumers. Why not make a one year run of models that could be afforded across its consumer base (which is arguably all rich, but then there are classes within this class with Patek primarily catering to the richest amongst the rich). I would have certainly enjoyed a 40th anniversary with a new complication (i.e. the perpetual calendar as a regular production piece could have been offered then), or an advanced research model, or heck a new dial variation of all models (maybe green).
